Legal Reform

The high cost of litigation in New York, also known as "tort taxes" have contributed to the enormously high property tax burden for homeowners and businesses in New York, reduced access to health care, and driven up costs for homebuilders and homeowners. The failure of policymakers to meaningfully address legal reform has hindered efforts to revitalize New York's economy.
